Gail

Gail joined Harcourts Milford in 1997, after an extensive career in nursing and as a Mum to three children. Immediately, the market took one of its famous and most dramatic dips. But, as they say: “When the going gets tough, the tough get going!” As a result, Gail is now truly established as one of the North Shore’s “go to” agents, selling properties from Devonport to Okura including Retirement Villages, Rest Homes and Apartment Complexes. She has also assisted in managing both the Milford and Glenfield offices of the Harcourts Cooper & Co group, and has been a feature model in an ad campaign to attract people into the Real Estate profession. Gail is always prepared to work hard for her community. She is an active member and former president of the professional women’s group, Zonta, working to improve the education and status of women worldwide. Gail has an adventurous spirit and enjoys a challenge, especially if it’s outdoors or high tech. She is also a talented and knowledgeable gardener, needlewoman, homemaker and cook.

Ken

Ken is a media man. He’s worked as a journalist on newspapers and in radio and television and in advertising and marketing. He’s still very much involved in the media and continues to turn up in television commercials and the odd spot on Shortland Street. Fascinated by domestic architecture, he’s put his family through years of interesting house renovations. He’s a foundation trustee for the rescue and restoration of the last of Takapuna’s spectacular colonial beach mansions, now Lake House Arts Centre on Fred Thomas Drive. Ken’s skills as a wordsmith and in sales and marketing, are widely acknowledged in the industry. He is in popular demand for editorials, and with colleagues to provide creative input for their campaigns. Prospective buyers often tell him that his writing and video presentations made them fall in love with a house before they’d even seen it! Ken’s a great advocate for maintaining physical fitness at all stages of life. You’ll find him working out regularly with weights at his local gym, as well as participating in high impact Body Attack classes.
